Easy handling

The scale is simple to use with two buttons. The left hand button for on and off plus tare. The right hand button to choose the measure in grams, ounces, kilograms and pounds. Just push the button. The digital kitchen scale also remembers the last set measurement unit. A new setting is not necessary after you turn on the scale. It is still on the last set unit.

You can put food like vegetables directly on the plate. I recommend using a plate or bowl to keep the plate clean or if you have to weigh different ingredients for a recipe. First you have to press the tare button. This set the scale to zero so you only weigh your food and not the bowl. Then weigh the first ingredient, press the tare button and weigh the next ingredient and so on until you are ready. An easy procedure.

If you place a bowl on the scale platform before turn-on the scale, it´s not necessary using the tare button. The scale zeroes automatically after switch-on. This little feature allows any user to start directly with weighing the food.

Good readable display

The scale has a large LCD screen with a good readability from any angle. This is a helpful quality feature if you place a bigger bowl on the scale and cannot view straight to the display.

The battery is of importance

This digital kitchen scale uses two AAA batteries. I think it is a good solution compared to special batteries like the small button type (example: CR2032), which are also often used in digital kitchen scales.

A replacement is easy. The AA type batteries are nearly everywhere available and less expensive than special batteries.

Another important feature is the timer. The scale has a 3-minute auto-turnoff. If you do not use the scale during a three-minute time period it switches off automatically.
